![]() You may be thinking this is a really cool program but you wouldn't have any time or need to use it. There are many more that are out there now and many more that are still gearing up to come out. With these three additions alone MegaSeg has become a better program, but keep in mind that these are not the only three additions that have come about. Now that the cool guys over at Fidelity Media have bundled this new conversion program with the program, it will be much easier to use smaller files (especially if you are on an older Mac). This comes in handy because when Napster (and other such search engines) finally shut down, there will be no way easy way to download MP3s and you will have to, without the use of N2MP3 to upload huge CD files. The last improvement that is going to be discussed on this update is the added bundle of N2MP3, which has become one of the easiest ways to get CD tracks converted into MP3 format. So, now its much easier to do so and I think that was one of the best improvements of the program even though it was a small one (hey, big things come in small packages, you better believe it! hehe). This comes in handy when your moms yellin' at you to "turn that damn music down" and you're to lazy to go through all that hassle of closing the windows and such. Now there is a slider knob right off to the right hand side of the main menu bar that allows you to control how loud the music you're listening to comes out through your speakers is. It used to be that there was no way to control the volume from MegaSeg itself, so one would have to close the program (or at least shrink it), go over to the apple menu and turn down the volume that way. The next added improvement to this arsenal of additions is a master volume control on the main display. The first is the ability to now import either CD tracks (using your CD-ROM drive) or import MP3 files (which have become one of the coolest and more controversial ways to listen to music). There have been so many improvements to this program since iTeen Online first did their review almost a year ago that we can't go over all of them, so we have chosen the top 3 improvements to explain to you. Those are just the basics of MegaSeg, now lets check out what the guys over at Fidelity Media have come up with to make the program even better. Some other basic components are a pitch adjuster, logable play lists, master volume control, and finally the ability to program intro times and fade in/out times. So, basically all you have to do is customize the music you want to listen to and let the rest be up to the wonderful makers of MegaSeg. After each song is over, it "segues" into the next song using a customizable fade in and out time and starts the new song right after that. After customizing the play list, all you have to do is press "segue" and the rest is up to the program. MegaSeg is a basic music playback program that allows users to customize play lists to their liking. Since our first review of MegaSeg back at iTeen Online, they have improved many of the components that help make MegaSeg run and this article is an update to see how the piece of software is doing and where it is going to go.īefore getting into the new aspects of MegaSeg, or if you did not read our first review of the program, let us take a moment to review the basics. MegaSeg is a very easy to use and easy to learn tool that allows anyone from professional DJs to casual music listeners to program their music selections on an easy pull down menu and play them with ease whenever they wish. That software is a DJing solution by Fidelity Media entitled MegaSeg. ![]() This week's article is an updated review on a piece of software that is loved here at iTeen. Now that I have cleared my slate, lets get on to this weeks article. This problem of revision should not happen again anytime soon, and if it continues I encourage all of the readers to e-mail me about it and yell at me ). I thank all of you who e-mailed me or posted a message on our forums about the mishap. Instead of the three colors being Indigo, Tangerine, and Graphite the new colors are Indigo, Key Lime, and Graphite. There were a few errors throughout the article, but the main one was the mistake on the different colors of the new iBooks.
